Zündapp DBK 250 „Derby-Kastenrahmen” from 1938. The model was built from 1938 to 1940. DBK 250 was a successor of a lighter machine: DBK 200, which was built from 1935 to 1938. Both models were fitted with two-stroke, one-cylinder „Derby” block engine and light box-style frame (Kastenrahmen). „DBK” stands for Derby, Block and Kastenrahmen. The power output of DBK 250 was 8.5 HP at 3850 rpm, engine displacement: 247cc, bore/stroke: 67/70mm. Carburetor: Bing 22mm. Transmission: 3 speed. Tire size: 3.00-19". Gas tank volume: 12.5 ltr, fuel consumption: 3 ltr/100 km. Weight: 124 kg, and top speed: 90 km/h. No side car was offered with this model.
